ABOUT THE SEASCAPE ON EDEN COLLECTION

A joint portfolio of shoreline and ocean view photography by father and daughter Martin and Samantha Lee Osner comprises brilliant photographs of sandy beaches, rocky outcrops and ever-changing ocean patterns. These photographs are powerful and atmospheric, with a sense of nostalgia. Seascapes and ocean scenes bring with them a feeling of peace and tranquillity, dipped in nostalgia, a sense of space, fresh air and sentimental longing evoke distant memories of holidays quiet times of reflection.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

On a winter's day in 1984 "photography" and I met quite by accident, an encounter that redirected my life and changed it forever. Over the past twenty-eight years, while walking a self-discovery path, my methodology has taken numerous detours. It is a journey that has refined a relaxed subconscious attitude, with a desire to express simplicity and honesty through my work. For me, a photograph holds an undeniable sense of realism, a new correlation that is easy to associate with. I see I understand; I experience, I connect. In my photography, I allow day to day life to inspire.

ARTIST COLLABORATION

To us, photography is a reality driven medium that unlocks the expressive depths of art. We consider the camera and lens as mere instruments within the creative process. In our work, we strive to convey emotion and design rather than illustration. With the power to transform a subject in a matter of seconds, light to us is the mystical and elusive element to be pursued and captured. As father and daughter, we are truly blessed to be able to share this creative world together. Our gallery is a sanctuary; a place where we can display our emotions on a wall and share our passion for art and photography with you.

How is the print made?

On archival pigment inks and heavyweight fine art paper, with a white border that carries the signature. Printed to order and checked by the artist before it is signed.

Is it signed and numbered?

Every print is signed by the artist. Limited editions are also numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity. Open edition prints are signed, not numbered.

How long does delivery take?

Can I have it framed?

Yes, through our framing workshop at the gallery in Hout Bay. Ask the gallery.

What currency will I pay in?

Prices are charged in US dollars. Beneath each price you see an estimate in your own currency, worked out from the dollar price at today's rate. Buyers in South Africa can pay in rand by bank transfer at checkout.

Will I pay VAT or import tax?

No VAT or tax is added to your price. We are not a VAT vendor, so there is nothing to claim back either. Depending on where you live, your country may charge import duty or tax when the work arrives. That is set by your country's customs rules and is out of our hands, so if you are unsure, your local customs office can tell you what to expect.

Can I return it?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, in the condition it arrived in and in its original packaging, with return shipping at your cost. If it arrives damaged, or it is the wrong work, we replace it or refund you at our cost. See the returns policy.
