An area I returned back to time after time without much success until the last visit. You can read the story here:-\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003ehttps:\/\/www.martinosner.com\/post\/the-day-creation-was-unveiled \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAs with the exhibition shoot, I also have limited success with everything else I wanted to shoot, mainly due to the poor weather and uncomplimentary lighting conditions. \u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eAs I drove down into a valley one morning, the sun came out for a few seconds lighting up this beautiful tree in a meadow; it was like a glimpse of glory, and then it all dissipated as the sunlight vanished one again for the day. I took a photograph thinking that I would try to process it as black and white, which incidentally also did not work.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe last chance to show this scene as I had experienced it that day was to see what I could do using mixed media in the studio. I printed out the photograph in colour on art paper and then let it loose with acrylic paint combined with a textured stone overlay. It was not long, and this beautiful impression emerged from the grave of poor light, freshly delivered from the depths of my imagination. It is a journey that has refined a relaxed subconscious attitude, with a desire to express simplicity and honesty through my work.
